About Book Giving Day
Armenians have been proud of their literary achievements and love for the written word for centuries. To preserve our culture from enemies, we hid our books in our houses, churches, even under the ground. Yet, nowadays, when there is no need to hide books, children in border villages need books, while libraries are lacking.
Book Giving Day is celebrated every year on February 19th. This day is one of the favorite events of our team when we give books to each other. Ahead of that holiday, we decided to organize a charity program with the SmartClick team, within which people will have the opportunity to give books to children from border villages.
Which villages are included in the program?
The villages included are Kirants, Sarigyugh, Vazashen, Norashen, Choratan, Movses, Chinari, Artsni, Tsaghkut, Aygedzor, Medovka.

The books are collected for around 160 children of 5-9 grades (10-15y.o.) from border villages.
